Recommendations of hotels in Fussen?
 

Can anyone recommend a good, moderately priced hotel in Fussen? I don't need a luxury hotel, but don't want a bargain basement hotel with shared bathrooms, etc. Thanks in advance for your help.

We stayed at the Hotel Hirsch. http://www.hotelhirsch.de/
It was just outside the city wall and had it's own parking lot. I think we paid less than $100 for 3 people to stay in the same room.

You might consider the Luitpold Park Hotel

Hotel zum Hechten was a wonderful place for my family. I highly recommend it.

We made reservations in Hohenschwangau (small town where castles are) at Alpenstuben.de with view of castle for less than 100 euro no shared bathrooms. It is 3 star hotel but town is not as lively as Fuessen. It is very quiet after tourist have left but we wanted to be able to get pictures of castle in early morning.
