Recommendations for quiet, comfortable hotel/b&b near Heathrow

Looking for 4 nights near Heathrow with good connections into London. Our usual go-to place has just nearly doubled their rate. Need quiet, comfortable place @115 GBP or less for double. Stay is in July 2014.

Any particular reason for staying 4 nights near Heathrow? We stayed at the Jury's Inn near Terminal 4 last July, it was at the tail end of our vacation and we had an early morning flight out. We were initially to stay a night, then made it 2 due to a last-minute change in flights. I think we paid about 100 quid for a double, the hotel was perfectly adequate and we actually got a huge room, no complaints on that score. Hattons Cross tube station on the Piccadilly line is just a few minutes away but it takes almost an hour to get into town, you are also outside zones 1 & 2. IMO I'd stay in town, but you know best.

Why would you want to stay out at LHR for 4 nights????? One night -- maybe. But IMO only if one has a very early AM flight out. But unless you have family or business in the LHR area and that is your main reason for traveling - that makes little sense.

The travel in/out of London will increase your costs considerably, and the time wasted - my goodness.

We stayed here for two nights because it was cheap and suited our needs but I wouldnt want to spend four nights there and its not brilliant for transport (Im writing myself out of recommending it) but its just one idea. If you do plum for it get a room in the main building (very quiet) not the annex.

Are you trying to visit London on those four nights? If so, your location choice for lodging sucks.

Where do you want to spend your time...if in London then find a place in London for your budget. Staying in Heathrow area to visit london is a false economy if that is what you are doing.

Look at premier inns, Ibis, or novatel hotels in zone 1 for budget accommodation in London if your plan is to see london.

Hope this helps.

Aren't you glad you asked? Try Premier terminal 5. Free bus (423)to and from terminal. Hotel is first stop.
