Recommendations for hotels in Amsterdam
 

Anyone have favorite hotel in Amsterdam around $100 to $175?

We enjoyed the Hotel Fita. The rooms are fairly basic but clean and comfortable. The location is excellent - right near many museums. The people running the hotel are very nice and helpful and the breakfast is terrific.

We like Hotel Clemens, right by the Anne Frank House.

Pension Homeland.

Best Western Blue Tower. 65 euros/night in August 2015. 15 minutes by tram from Dam Square. First time in several visits staying so far from Dam but didn't mind it a bit.

I reserved an Air B/B for 65 per night. If you dont mind staying solo.

let's hope for anyone booking AirBnB's in Amsterdam, that the accommodation is still there when they travel. City Gov is cracking down hard, and with good reason. The situation has reached crisis point.
