Hello--Our family is planning to rent an apartment in Paris for summer 2015. We are targeting the 6th Arrondisement and will have a 5 year old with us. I have been doing searches on VRBO, but would love to hear of any other agencies you have had a good experience with. Kind thanks in advance.

We've used www.vacationinparis.com two times and would recommend them to anyone. This March/April, were using a different service, www.Cobblestoneparis.com as it involves only two this time instead of 4 people. (Airfare savings for the extra 2 being spent on the Apartment) So far, they've been great to deal with, and the recommendations on TA are good. I'll post a trip report in April that describes the apartment service then.

We've used www.guestapartment.com and www.servissimo.com with great success.

I've used www.onefinestay.com in London - they are also in Paris. It's more expensive than VRBO or Airbnb, more like a hotel service in a private home. You don't deal with the owner of the property at all. Have a look at what they have in Paris.

Try Paris Perfect. They have an excellent selection of top rated apartments to choose from. We've used them for both ourselves and our clients.

Both are excellent and have apartments in the 6th -- I have a slight preference for PBL because the prices are a bit lower and the owner is amazingly helpful.

We rented with parisbestlodge but stayed in the 5th Arrondisement. However, I think they do have an apartment in the 6th. Thierry was very easy to work with and I would rent from this company again.
