Recommendations for a hotel in Montpellier?

Hello, all...

I'm looking for a good two or three star establishment in the middle of Montpellier for a couple of days. Has anyone any suggestions? Has anyone had experience with the Hotel de France in Montpellier?

Try the Mercure hotel (Mercure.com has a few hotels) we've been to Montpellier 3 times and always stayed at the Sofitel simply because it's the best that Montpellier has.

Hi

the best location is around Comedie.

Ibis and Hotel du Midi are both well placed.

I've got more info about hotels in the area here :

I really liked the Hotel d'Aragon ***, a beautiful small hotel just off Place de la Comedie. It has only 12 rooms and was completely redone 2 or 3 years ago. The hosts are nice and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and look just like the ones on their website. I'm guessing it would be a 4* if it had an elevator.

Here are my Montpellier photos. The last two are of my room.

JEFF, thanks for the link to your photos. I browsed some of your other France pictures as well. Very nice.
