Recommendation for Tuscany villa

We are a family of four, 2 adults & 2 daughters (14 & 16) looking to rent a villa/apt.in farmhouse or village home the week of July 8th. I'd like to be in the Siena area, within driving distance to the small towns of the area. We'll be travelling for 3 weeks in Italy, so our budget for that week needs to be $1400 or less. I've been to all the most popular sites for rentals in Tuscany. Any recommendations on villas or websites I should check?

Does this mean you've checked summerinitaly? I looked and they all look good. I would assume you would want 2 bathrooms, as I have had teenagers...
They have a 'search' feature that turns up what you request.

susanab,
Check Slow Trav http://www.slowtrav.com/italy/vr/reviews.asp for villa or apartment. My favorite is La Crociona http://lacrociona.com/index.htm
If you e-mail me I will send you some suggested daytrips in southern Tuscany.

Paola, Paolo and other owners of villas near Lake of Bolsena have a nice website with their villas direct to visitors . Check it at www.bolsenacountryholidays.com
The prices are good, and the area is still off the beaten track.

I tried to check out that site and couldn't get anything except the opening page. Nothing 'clicked' so what am I doing wrong?
