Recommendation for the Alps in summer

So I've been reading topics about Alps all day...but still have a need to ask for advice.

I want to experience a beautifull idylic scenery view of the Alps in 3-4 days in July/August.
No tent, NO snow, no more than 15-20km light hiking. just green fields flowers, streams and forest around. WITH an awesome wide overview of the mountains around. Aiming for sunny weather...
(Something like Vengen, Swiss)
But I will avoid Switzerland since it is very expensive and I'm on a very low budget.
I could come from Italy, France or Germany...
Please consider that I will be backpacking, using trains/buses.

What location would you recommend?

The Dolomites of Northern Italy will be less $$$ and are spectacular. You can use Munich, Venice or Verona as your flight entry.

Amazing...Thank you very much bobthenavigator! :)
Lotz of spectacular scenery...I'm exploring it right now...

Though this one just might be the one, I would love to hear a few more suggestions to consider as an option.

Thanks!

Read about Seiser Alm hiking area, and explore the web sites under Val Gardena.

Indeed scenery around Val Gardena is amazing and it's all relatively close...
Selva would be the absolute winner for me.

I think I will be coming from Venice.
According to http://www.rome2rio.com/s/Val-Gardena/Venice
Venice - Verona - Ponte Gardena/Waidbruck - by trains ~45e
Ponte Gardena/Waidbruck - Val Gardena - by taxi ~25e

But I'm searching for the cheapest acommodation options for say July 11 to 15th (4 nights), and,
at val-gardena.net the prices go insanely high...

30e is what I considered to be the absolute maximum for a nightsleep anywhere I'll be going. Is that possible to find in Selva or somewhere nearby?

Or should I better search for a place where making a fire is allowed and take a sleep on my sleeping pad with all my clothes on and my backpack as a pillow? ;)
