Do please come back, and try to understand why many of us that are regulars here are suspicious of one-time posters who register to write absolutely glowing reports of a service or accomodation. In general, they are fakes.

Most reports will have some caveats included, which your's did not. And many people who are new will introduce themselves as such, and tell us why they registered. Since you did neither of those things, which all adds up to matching the profile of advertisers, I too was suspicious of your post.

I am very glad that you came back to defend yourself. I hope to see you taking a part in our many discussions of Paris. The posters here are nice people, but I think that some, like me, get a little tired of disguised advertisers coming to Fodor's, against the site rules, to tell us how great they are. Can you understand why some of us would be suspicious?

thanks tuscanlifeedit
I guess as it hadn't even occured to me in the first place, I was a bit shocked at the vitriol - probably a bit naive too.

Anyway - maybe I should just read a few posts before commenting again - so I get to learn the rope a little.

Just adding my two cents. I'm not a first-time poster. We stayed in a ParisPerfect apartment two years ago and (with minor quibbles) just loved it. The photos on the website were accurate. Their places are gorgeous. Expensive, yes, and when we return to Paris one of these days from my mouth to God's ear) we'll probably try to find a less expensive rental. But PP doesn't need shills -- their apartments, and their service, are impeccable.

Sarah, I'm so glad you took my explanation so well. Just last night there was someone signed on, talking about how great their experience with an Italy travel planning service was. It was their first post, just totally full of praise, and as soon as they were questioned, they disappeared! It happens very often here.

We are all very glad to read your good review of Paris Perfect. I myself would love to stay with them, but they are out of my price range. Paris Poorfect would be more like it.
