Recommend any of these budget Rome hotels?
 

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has stayed in or can recommend one of these hotels in Rome. Majority of them are near the train station. My husband I will be in Rome for the last 3 nights of our 2 week vacation in Italy in September.

1. Hotel Parker*** (near Termini)
2. Scheppers Hotel*** (west of Vatican)
3. Galeno Hotel** (near Termini)
4. Espana Hotel*** (near Termini)
5. Margaret Hotel** (near Termini)
6. Tre Stelle Hotel*** (near Termini)

I find that the train station area is not very central to most sights. The hotel listed west of the Vatican is not central either. I think you should look for a more central location.

I'm sure others will have some specific hotel suggestions.

What is your budget in euros per night?

Why do you want near Termini--not your best option.

I guess just to keep the cost down..

Our budget would be around 100 euros/night.

Look at Hotel Panda--much better location.
