Kavey, in answer your question about the reimbursement for the transfers -- In Zagreb the people who were supposed to pick us up were also the ones to transport us to the airport for our departure. We had the hotel call them to be sure they were going to pick us up for our departure, and at that time they were very apologetic but could not explain what happend. Anyway, when they picked us up to take us to the airport for our return, they apologized again and reimbursed us.
In Dubrovnik, we were transferred to the airport with the same company that did not meet us on our arrival, but they did not reimburse us. They said they were given an incorrect time to pick us up at the bus station. (They also showed us the paperwork with the incorrect time.) I sent an e-mail to Paul Lafier Tours to give them some feedback on the trip and also mentioned to them that we would like to be reimbursed for the Dubrovnik cab fare. Have not heard back from them. Although it is disappointing that Paul Lafier did not even acknowledge my e-mail, I must say that other than this, the trip went off without a hitch and they did a good job for us. Hope you do go to Croatia -- I know you will enjoy it. |
