Try the Louvre Forum, it is very reasonable, or the Hotel Andréa, for even cheaper, it is in the fourth but at the border of the First., or even the Hotel Levallé, in the First.

Try the Ducs de Bourgogne, a 3* on the Rue du Pont Neuf. Small but exceptionally clean and well maintained rooms; gracious, very efficient staff. Excellent location--a block from the Louvre and the Pont Neuf, with Metro and RER stops no more than a block away. I paid around $115, as I recall, for a single room in June 2000. The hotel has a web site (www.hotel-paris-bourgogne)where you can get more information on the accommodations and rates.

I did see this (Ducs de Bourgogne) recommended at one site. Is it in a location where I can stroll at night. I am only there for 3 nights so I would like to walk at night. Did this in Milan last year and it was great. I can't seem to find the Hotel Louvre Fourm. Thanks everybody...

Try www.anamericaninparis.com under hotels. The Hotel Louvre Forum is listed with comments.

Pat that was a great link. I just hate the planning of this. Found Forum info on the fodor's list
