Reasonable airfare to London in mid-June
I am planning a cruise from England next June. In checking airfares from Washington DC to London, I can get a round-trip fare for about $500 if I purchase now. I've not seen fares this low for this route during the summer months this past year.
If anyone has experience traveling from the East coast to London, could you tell me if you recommend booking this fare now, or waiting to see if the price drops?

If your plans are certain and you understand that the fare is probably non-refundable for any reason, than I'd go for it. It's a great price for June. Consolidators may occasionally have lower prices, especially on short-notice travel, but imo it's a very good fare.
You could however always wait a few months if you don't want to set this in stone yet--with Americans traveling less to Europe, the fare may come back.
It's always a gamble.

Pablopaul, I'm doing the same research for next June too.
United is showing r/t trip fares in mid June of $438 and $468 (INCLUDING taxes) for Dulles to Heathrow. On a morning flight too (which I like). It's non refundable but if you know your dates for certain, that is an excellent fare!
