Real Time Road info in Italy
I have found one site that has real time road information on major Italian highways:
http://www.autostrade.it/autostrade/traffico.do
However, it never seems to have information on the Rome Ring Road.
Are there alternative sources of information -- Internet or radio -- on the Ring Road and other locations?
We'll be driving south of Rome, staying in various places along the way, and eventually travel in Sicily.

Since the Rome Ring Road is almost always either crowded, overcrowded or a complete traffic jam, they are wise not to predict time information. General rule of thumb: add an extra hour at least to your planned schedule for traffic jams.

I've really never found it that bad(!) of course...everything is relative and I'm comparing with LA and NYC...but...seriously, if it's not rush hour, I haven't had a rough time at all going South...maybe a little traffic...but nothing horrible really...normal construction traffic is all...besides...you're only on it for a VERY short time...like 25km give or take.
