Real Madrid Tickets

Does anyone have any idea how to get tickets for a Real Madrid game? I have been to RM's website but do not see anything about tickets. The only other areas that appear on the internet are ticket brokers who appear to be charging a huge premium. I am coming over from Canada and have never been to a European football match and would love to see RM play Valencia on Oct 23.

Any comments are most welcome.

This is the best explanation I have found for all of the 1st division spanish league teams and how their tickets are available:

I was emailing a friend in Madrid (of course, he is a Real Madrid fanatic)and so I posed your question to him. He said:

1)The RM-Valencia game is a big one and he thinks it will be almost impossible to get tickets.

2)However, if you want to try, go directly to the stadium ticket office (sorry, he did not give me hours, can you find that on the web?) and try to buy tickets there. The metro is line 10, the stop is Santiago Barnabeu (or Bernabeu? It is the stadium name).

3)You can probably buy scalper tickets outside for a price, but it is illegal...

I have photos we took outside the stadium, it was fun even to do that!

Good luck.

I bought 2 tickets for a match in May through www.madrid-tickets.com. I didn’t realize until I got to the game that the seats were NOT together. That said, both were extremely close to the action (and only a few rows apart).

Hi Mark,

agree with Annabelle regarding the match. Valencia might not be Barcelona, but they play well (even if you donīt have a clue about whatīs going on) and it is one of the big teams in Spain, so it will be difficult to get tickets.

I have asked a colleague who goes regularly to the matches (heīs been a club member since he was born, you know, parents ...) and he said that you could try phoning + 34 902324324 (Cajamadrid, a spanish bank, sells Real Madrid tickets that way, they donīt sell them yet via Internet). He is not sure if they will speak english, but he says that you should give it a try.

If you cannot get tickets before travelling, go to the ticket office in Concha Espina. I wouldnīt try the scalpers, a bit afraid of fakes ... Nevertheless, going to the stadium on that day is pretty impressive, and when they open the doors you can get a glimpse of the field ...
