dulciusexasperis - So what's this magic card that gives you back more than they earn from you? Is it on everything you charge to the card with no earnings limits or annual fee?

I love how you do your calculations with a 'typical' airline fee card but then compare it to your 'super special' card that us mere humans couldn't possibly obtain. FYI - I get 2 miles per dollar on flights, hotels and car rentals.

Oh, and btw - round trip to Europe on United is 50K points, no matter where you fly from in the US. Flights are $1500 at best in summer from Denver making those points worth 3c each. Better than most (dare I say all) people can get average back from spending on a credit card. Business is usually around $5K and 100,000 points making those worth 5C each. Oh, and I completely forgot, we get Premier Economy for free making flying economy worth twice as much at 6C.

Also, it's 160,000 points to fly first class to Australia or $16K making those points worth 10C each. The math seems to be on my side here!

We never use points for flying domestically, it doesn't make sense. However I guarantee that we save substantially more from using our points wisely than you get back in cash even if you actually do get that 4% back.

Our hotel here in Prague - K+K CentraL- is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in! Can't say enough about this place- free internet- they even provide a tablet in the room for free surfing! Champaign at breakfast! Charming old building but restored and updated.

We will be in Dresden both of those days. We arrive there tomorrow before noon.

Do you have time for us? Our hotel is smack in the middle of all the historic sites?

We arrive on 19th.. Maybe dinner on 21st?
