Reading, which airport is the closest?

A friend of mine is going to a wedding in Reading, which is the nearest airport to fly into - Gatwick, Luton or Stanstead?

Heathrow 23.41 miles
Luton 39.83 miles
Gatwick 41.25 miles
Stanstead 61.73 miles

So Heathrow is their best bet.

Heathrow is by far the easiest if your friend could get a flight to there, as it's on the M4 (the main highway west from London) which goes straight to Reading, so it would be a fast and easy drive, without lots of twists and turns.
