Small world. We live in Denver and yes, the smog and pollution have gotten terrible. I've spent summers in Colorado for the past 20 years (since I was in kindergarten!) and it has just grown worse and worse.
We're house shopping right now and looking at an area closer to Boulder. Still overpopulated (and overpriced), but less smoggy and you can still see the mountains instead of brown haze...
You will love Mesa Verde. Watch out for major construction on I70 on your way to Idaho Springs... seems traffic is always a mess trying to get through Eisenhower Tunnel
