Re-learning Italiano

Anyone know of a good site where I can brush up on some Italian before going back in October?<BR>Took some in college, but am drawing lots of blanks.

If you mean a website, try www.transparent.com. I subscribe to their email word of the day service which is fun. Also, I recommend the living language or berlitz cds.

I never took Italian in school. But I bought a phrase book with a tape and played in in the car on the was to and from work every day. That helped with phrases and for you, it should refresh your vocabulary. Since it was a tiny book, I brought it along on the trip as well.

Here's a link to an article I just read about learning Italian: http://travel.telegraph.co.uk/travel/main.jhtml?menuId=-1&menuItemId=-1&xml=/travel/2002/08/28/etlang5.xml<BR><BR>I've used the Transparent Language CD ROM (Italian Now, 8.0) to brush up; it's pretty good, and came with a little mic that you can use to repeat after the speaker and see a graph that shows how close your pronunciation is. Kind of a fun and motivating excercise!

I wish that I could learn by osmosis. Far easier.
