re: help identifying London picture ATTN: IRA
Sorry for starting another new post - I couldn't figure out how to post my reply after I previewed it! (is there a trick to this??)
The link to the pic. I need help with is here: http://www.kodakgallery.com/PhotoVie...vfolderid=2007 Did I do that right? It seems awfully long for an address. Ira - interesting enough, I hadn't been to the Kodak site since planning our trip. I had several of your albums to use as reference! Thanks for sharing. We're in the planning stages for our next trip, so you'll probably be hearing from me again! |
You need a logon - but I think it's the Royal Horseguards Thistle Hotel - it's to the left of Charing Cross station as you look at it from the river

ttt for nbbrown
The reason you "can't post" is because of the REALLY long URL you posted you can't see the text box. scroll over and it is there . . . . |
Well, how embarassing! Thank you for the help!
|
alanRow - thank you so much for your information - you're right on! As grandiose as it is, I thought it had to be the Queen's quarters or some other very important place! Thank you again! Now I can carry on with my labeling....(I may be back.....)

What's even more embarrassing is that when I saw ATTN: IRA, I thought of the Irish Republican Army (and was trying to figure out why you wanted their attention), rather than thinking of the erudite, helpful poster Ira.

WillTravel, that is hilarious! I guess I thought if I put his name in all caps, it would capture his attention. I hope I don't get any replies from the I.R.A.! Thanks for sharing that....

Hi NB,
kodakGallery says that the link you posted is no longer valid. You can post a better link by using "share your photo". Send it to yourself. You will get a link. Copy and paste that link as a post to your original thread. For long URLs (such as this one) that mess up the formatting, copy the URL and paste it at www.tinyurl.com. You then post the tiny URL as a link. Hope this helps. ((I)) |
