Ravello - return trip

We are considering a return to Ravello. What is the best time of year to go? Any updates on the restaurants there?

We stayed last time at Villa Maria. Is the price still worth it?

Thank you!

Ji MW - I love June on the Amalfi Coast. September would be good too ...

I found June in Ravello a bit chilly, presumably because it's high up - it was hot in the sun but cold in the shade and at night. (We moved on to Amalfi and it was very hot there at the time.)

We had lunch at Villa Maria in July and it was excellent. We were just visiting for the day from Positano. There was a delightful English couple sitting at the next table that we really enjoyed talking with.

Glad to hear the food is still good at the Villa Maria- and the view isn't too bad either.

Guess July may be better.

Thank you everyone.

If I won the lottery I would pack my bags and move to Villa Cimbrone now. I'm just saying. We were there (to visit, not to stay) in June and it was amazing and the weather was divine.

Hmmm. Was wondering if Villa Cimbrone was worth the splurge.

Any other thoughts Fodorites?
