Ravello Festival
 

We will be staying in Positano and are considering buying tickets for several events in Ravello during the evening as part of the ravello festival. We won't have a car. Is there taxi service or is it realistic to think we can get back to Positano via bus late at night after a concert?

We had a restaurant call us a taxi after dinner - actually just a guy in a Benz. From Ravello to Conca dei Marini – 2 km west of Amalfi: 50€. You might be able to arrange a cheaper pickup through your hotel.

Hi Miami - The buses don't run late enough for most events - so taxi will be your only option.

This will be very expensive if you plan to go to several events.

Ravello-Positano will cost you € 80-100, I believe.

You may be able to cut a deal with a cab driver, ask around when you are there. On a slow night or if you use one for another jaunt they may work with you on this. Ask your hotel if they have a driver you can use, not a cab but a regular driver. Some of the locals do this on the side. Have fun.
