Ravello and Capri - Favorite Hotels?
 

I am looking for nice hotels in Ravello and Capri with a scenic view - not budget but not super expensive. Please give me your favorites and why.

If you don't mind not having a pool the la Minerva is an excellent choice( also reviewed on www.karenbrown.com) espically the deluxe rooms.
The Mamela has been recently renovated and is very high class Italian, its my new favorite on Capri, I love the pool and lounge area and the view rooms are beautiful.

I second Fluffy's recommendation re: the Mamela. We loved it. The rooms are large and we paid 240E in mid May. It is very close to the center of town without actually being in it so you have close access to the "hub" with beautiful sea views on a quiet street. The pool is nice, staff friendly and very helpful. I think you can link to their website via www.caprionline.com

I sound like a broken record, but for Ravello it's the Parsifal. Great views, great food, not expensive. I can e-mail pics if you like...
