Rants and Raves: Hotels - Rome

OK, I'll start. Let's summarize our rants and raves on Rome hotels here. If you did happen to use a hotel recommended by Fodors, please post in the Rants and Raves section because we like the Rants and Raves section and would like for it to grow. Let's try to stick to the same format.

Pensione Panda
www.hotelpandaparadise.com
Via della Croce, 35
00187 Roma
Tel. I stayed in Rome for 5 nights. I loved this hotel and would gladly stay there again. The room was small, but I rated it a 5 because it was good enough for what I wanted. It was convenient, quiet, inexpensive, and immaculate with a very gracious staff. There was also internet access (L10.000/hour) in the late evening.

I stayed in a single no bath and I have no complaints. The bath was kept clean and I had no problems with sharing.

I rated atmosphere a 2, but once again, it really wasn't a priority for me. This pensione is great for someone who wants clean accommodations and a convenient place to rest your head after a long day of site seeing.
