Randonee in St. Cirq?
 
We'll be leaving next week for the Dordogne area of France. While we're in St. Cirq, we'd like to take a walk in the surrounding countryside and have a picnic lunch. Anyone know of a good area for a walk? If not, how about a good restaurant in St. Cirq?

Are you referring to St-Cirq-Lapopie (which is not in the Dordogne), or to one of several other St-Cirqs that are in the Dordogne?

Sue, If you are referring to St-Cirq-La Popie, it"s one of my favorite villages in the "Dordogne area" but it is small and the best restos are in the local hotel and another auberge. We also had a nice meal with ambiance at L'ouseau.<BR>Don't try to park uphill in the village-it gave my spouse a breakdown, joking-but horrible, one way streets on an uphill, but really steep.<BR>
