Ok - not really a travel related question, but hoping someone out there has better Italian skills than I...
Our "special" song is "Happy Together" originally by the Turtles. It just so happened - the first day on our trip in Italy we got in a cab to the Vatican and that song - in Italian- was playing on the radio! Now that I am back in the states, i am trying to find the Italian version so I can add it to our little slideshow of our trip, but am having no luck finding it. Doesn't help I don't speak any Italian so not even sure what or what artist to search for. Any help would be VERY much appreciated!

it would probably be "Felice Insieme."

Wikipedia reports on many covers of the song, none in Italian (though, knowing Wikipedia, that doesn't mean none exists). However, Wikipedia DID report a Spanish cover, sung by Roberto Jordan, called "Juntos y Felices".

If it is "Felice Insieme" if you go to youtube and type in "Felice Insieme" you will see the Italian version by more then one singer.

Having listen to a bit of the Spanish version it does not sound anything like the Italian "Felice Insieme". We need our kistmetchiarma to see this thread!

The song you are looking for is 'Per vivere insieme' by Jimmy Fontana. Not sure if he covered the Turtles version or the other way around.
