Rain in paris-things to do

As a backup plan, what are the best things to do with children if it's raining in Paris? Last time we visited it poured and we wasted the day for lack of knowing what to do.

Any input is appreciated.
Thanks!
How about the Catacombs. Very unusual- tens of thousands of skeletons in neat piles in creepy tunnels under the city. Most kids love this.

There was a similar post a year ago. Check it out: "Ten Best Things to Do in Paris on a cold, rainy day, not counting the Louvre and D'Orsey." I was unsucessful is calling it. Maybe someone else will have better luck.

Paula: I'ts really too bad to waste a day in Paris just because of rain. There is so much to do.
Maybe you want to have a look at a couple of suggestions for kids (some are fine with rainy weather as well) at Time Out Paris:
http://www.timeout.com/paris/kids/
