Rain Coat (in tiny bag)

I'm looking for a thin rain coat that comes bundled in a small bag/case ... something light and compact. My husband and I are traveling to Europe this July/August. I recently read about one on one of the threads but can't seem to find it now.

Can anyone recommend a good place to find one?
Thanks!

Hello katzen,

Wal-Mart (or probably other similar stores) sells rain ponchos that fold up to about the size of a 3x5 card, good for throwing in a backpack or purse. They sell for $1.00 each. It's easy to bring several, so if they rip you just toss them out.

In fact; most of the dollar stores have those disposable raincoats in packets of 2 for $1.00. Have relied on them several times. Good one. Halfpint

If you want an actual rain coat (as opposed to a dry cleaner bag), REI sells nice rain coats that fold up into a tiny bag.

TravelSmith makes a small raincoat, it has lots of pockets and comes in a small bag. If it's going to be warm weather you might just need a poncho as suggested above.
I've quit taking an umbrella and now just pack one of those rain bonnets. Granted I think I should be at least 40 years older to really suit it but it works.

Thank you. Yes, I agree it will be very warm .. so I won't need anything heavy .. just something light .. but now that I'm thinking about it .. I probably don't need anything ... Thanks!

I found a nice raincoat that folds into a pouch for carrying/packing at J.C. Penney, as well.
