Railpass.com problem
Well they claim themselves to be the biggest distributor/seller of railpasses in the US, but I can't believe that they couldn't even notice a problem with their emailing system?
Over the past couple of weeks, I've sent emails to them everyday, about a purchase I made and each email is returned as 'failed'. There must be some kind of problem I agree but I can't believe they haven't noticed it? I purchased 3 railpasses costing over 1300usd, which was supposed to entitle me to 10usd worth of ipod music download, and a free international call phone. But I haven't received any informations on that too. I am in Russia, calling US is expensive and inconvenient, so I am hoping not to resort to that yet, but at the rate of how thing's going, I think I may have to call them soon. How disappointing... |
I think I read that Eurailpass is not available to people resident in Russia. See if your credit card has been charged. If it has been charged then ask for a refund. |
Do you have relatives in the US who can call for you? Can you use their address to receive the tickets, and they will mail them to you?

Well I am a Malaysian living in Russia, so I am able to travel with a railpass. And yes, the payment has been charged to my credit card.

Hi Alecki,
Spend the money and call them. Their website gives a 1-877 toll free number, which you might not be able to reach from Russia. They say that they are division of Wandrian, Inc Try calling 1 617 630-0220 in Newton Centre, MA. ((I)) |
Finally! I received an email from the general manager! He explained there had been some problem going on with their mailing services, etc etc.
I did receive my package around a week ago? And was a little surprised we weren't given the free voucher and free phone as promised. Just as I was thinking of calling them, I received the email. The phone is now on its way and I just received the voucher too! (Sigh of relief) |
