RailEurope Pass

Hi! First time poster. I have been reading this forum for over a month as I planned our trip to Italy. I know most writers views of RailEurope...but I hate lines and hate dealing with train stations. So, anyway I have a Pass. The Question is: Where do I get the pass validated at Roma Termini. Thank-you.

Not everyone here hates RailEurope or any of the other agencies because some of us are willing to pay the required premium for convenience just as some are willing to pay outrageous prices to stay near the tourist-infested Spanish Steps..so don't sweat it..you made the right decision for you.
When you get to Termini go into the booking hall (where the ticket window are..you can't miss it). There MAy be a window marked with a "Eurailpass" sign but any of the windows, particularly those selling "international" tickets can validate your pass. Try to avoid the windows that may be selling seat reservations only.
Validation can sometimes be a bit frustrating in some cities with some agents refusing to do the validation but technically any agent with a railway stamp can do it for you.

Hi,

If you are flying into FCO, you can have your pass validated at the ticket counter when you take the shuttle to Rome.

Thanks Ira, I think that's an even better idea..hadn't thought of it!

My pleasure, intrepid. You have helped me.

Thank-you! Airport would be good - but getting a shuttle to hotel. The direction for the train station just the thing! I'm in Philadelphia.
