Rail Strikes this Summer & Fall?
 

We will be in Germany, France and Belgium this September. Has there been any rail strikes in these countries in 2024? Any plans of striking this summer or later in 2024? Last year we was in Germany and had to change plans at the last minute because of the rail strikes.

Hard to say this far ahead of time. Germany is a mess so I wouldn't be surprised if the strikes continue there, but at this stage it is guesswork.

It's impossible to predict this early wether there will be strikes in Belgium in September.

There is a strike this weekend in France, but what is more interesting is that one of the unions has issued a strike notice covering the next seven months. This is probably just an ecological move to avoid wasting paper.
