Like tipsygus says - I too have ridden Swiss trains for eons - almost since before there even were any trains! - and really can't remember being checked for having the same name on my Swiss Pass - usually I just show the pass and the conductor never even looks at it - I could be using the same pass for years it seems (though never would if I could - there always could be checks - always carry your passport that matches the name on your type of pass.

Individual tickets - full fare ones at least - I believe are transferable so anyone can use them.
