Rail information
Other than raileurope, are their any good sites where I can get train information for travel in Europe. I thinking about getting a one month rail pass for my trip this September. Thanxs

Yeah, there are several good ones. If you want other pass information (although this info and rates are standard, may be slight difference in "service" charge) you can also check Rick Steve's travel WEB sit: (www.ricksteves.com).
I would assume the Eurail pass company itself probably has a WEB site (no? I haven't looked for it myself) at either www.eurail.com (just a guess)or it could be found through a search engine.

For rail schedules, I think the general link www.eurorail.com is good and has sublinks within it that go to specific European countries' own rail WEB sites and schedules.

Also try www.footloosetravel.com. I found it to be quite helpful with planning my rail trip. Real easy to use and lots of to the point information.I decided that I did not need a pass, you may conclude otherwise. Moreover, you get a free guidebook to Europe with most orders. Good luck!

For schedules, fares, amenities, etc. the German Rail site at http://bahn.hafas.de is very good (has English page) & easy to use. Just remember that for some cities you must use the European spelling (i.e. Wien for Vienna, Praha for Prague).

www.raileurope.com is the classic site and has a useful rail map with all the cities listed, but I really liked www.footloosetravel.com. Real easy to use and helps you decide which pass is best for you - as noted above. Moreover, I got a free European guidebook with my Britrail pass order! -

Just wanted to say 'hi' to another "Jay" seeing Europe by rail. I agree with your assessment of www.raileurope.com
