Rail Europe question

Are they the only online source for buying point to point rail tickets for Italy over here? I've used them several times for the convenience but was wondering if there are alternatives. Thanks!

Hi Sera,
Try www.railsaver.com.
P-t-P tickets are cheaper in Italy than over here.

Rail Europe is pricey. I just like the convenience of booking beforehand. One less thing to think about. Thanks for the tip on Railsaver. Unfortunately, they don't seem to do point to point.
:-(

Railsaver doesn't sell tickets OR passes. They send you to other sites to buy, such as railconnection.

Hi Sera,
Sorry about the misinformation on p-t-p ticket.
I'm looking for an alternate source.

Hi Sera,
Look at www.eurorailways.com for p-t-p tickets and seat reservations.

Buying train tickets within Italy is ridiculously easy, I see no reason for spending more money and going thru the hassle of getting them online. When you get to the train station, find the big ole yellow ticket machines. Click on the British flag for English, and follow the directions from there. Simple as pie.
