Rail Europe Prems Where are they

I had been researching the RailEurope Website some months back looking at fares between Paris and Montpellier. There were loads of prems and other cheap prices if you booked early enought, even cheap first class tickets. Now when I look 3 months ahead to book (seeems like plenty of time in advance) there is nothing to be seen. Generally the tickets start at £42 and the typical single journey I require is around £55. Does anyone know where all the £19 Prems and other good deals have gone. Thanks for reading

try www.voyages-sncf.com and you'll probably find those 19 quid PREMS

I don't think they call them PREMs on Raileurope, do they? They do have some cheaper fares now but I don't think they call them PREMs.

It must be the dates you are looking, as they do have 19 pound fares for that route three months out, I just looked (on the UK Raileurope). They have some on Aug. 6th, for example. There are some holidays in August, so if you are trying to get those dates or weekend around it, maybe that's the problem.

I thought PREMs were exclusively SNCF fares. I never associated them with RailEurope, though I know SNCF and RE are professionally linked.


If you just use the www.sncf.fr site you'll get the best fares. Especially if you stay on the French site and don't switch to English.

RE has now flexible and non-flexible fares - some non-flexi or whatever they call them can at times be surprisingly low

SNCF owns 75% of RailEurope outright - Swiss Railways the other chunk i believe
