quirky corkscrew?
Anyone know where I can find a funky corkscrew without shlepping to flea markets?
Thanks in advance. |
You might want to tell us where you will be . . . . .

and a price?

Realistically, you might also want to at least attempt to define what you feel is "funky." Does this include those so-called "erotic" corkscrews or is it limited to ones with advertising labels?

Or (though the last time I looked, it was descending from funky well into kitsch) La Chaise Longue on rue des Francs Bourgeois. There are a number of similar shops in the Marais (e.g., DOM on rue St Croix de la Bretonnerie), but you may find camp design outweighs functionality or value for money: and they might not have corkscrews at all.

There is a shop in the Marais in St. Paul Village that specializes in antique corkscrews...perhaps another Fodorite knows the name?? I have been but forgotten...and likely they would be above your price point as they were all antiques..but wonderful..maybe you would like to just "look" at them if you are a collector....anyone know the name of this shop...they were written up in Gourmet a few years back??

Try any one of the five La Vaissellerie stores in Paris. Or BHV.
