Quiet hostel in Paris?
I posted on Lonely Planet and Rough Guides too, but not getting too much action so I figured I'd give it a shot here.
We're looking for a recommendation of a decent, non-party hostel in Paris (We're not partyers and like our sleep!). We don't want to spend more than 20 Euro each per night. Any ideas? Thanks, -Abbynicole |
I've read Ideal Hostel is pretty good for this. Check all the reviews for various hostels at www.bugeurope.com .

Sorry, I was thinking of La Maison hostel:

A couple more sites with hostel reviews and forums, in addition to bugeurope:

Thanks for the suggestions.

Is there a hostel connected with the bike tours or something? I found the website but couldn't find anything about accomodation.

Hi Abbynicole,
You might try the FIAP Jean Monnet, www.fiap.asso.fr. I stayed there several years ago; the rooms were no-frills but it was quiet and geared to an older-than-college crowd. It's a short walk to Denfert-Rochereau (Rive Gauche). For true quiet you could try a Zen retreat, the Maison Zen, www.maisonzen.com. You don't have to be Buddhist to reserve a studio, but there is a minimum stay of a week. Good luck! |
