Quick trip to Silkeborg - something to see around ?
 

Hello, I'm probaly going to north Denmark for a quick business trip.
Landing at Aalborg (already been there, nice town actually) and going about Silkeborg via Aarhus - is there something along the highway to see ?
It will be dark on the way in, but light in the mroning on the way out. I have 2 evenings close to Silkeborg but will probably be with colleagues.

So. WIth all your recommendations, I visited Aalborg, a very nice city indeed. I had one hour to kill before my flight and visited it in 54 minutes. Honestly it is nice. Small too.
Now, going from Aalborg airport to Silkeborg, you have 2 possibilities : highway (150 kms, nothing to see, I chose that road as it was dark and raining, so highway was easy) or small roads, that I took in the way back, in the morning. So I could see that there was nothing to see. Silkeborg is ok, just not worth any detour. I recommend the Dania hotel over the Radisson and liked the asian restaurant.
