Very interesting trip report! I am sending it to my son and daughter-in-law. They and their eleven year old daughter are going to Paris in November.

I’m just beginning to plan a trip that might include Annecy and/or Talloires, and have found your comments invaluable -- including your description of the entrance to the path to la reserve naturelle du Roc de Chere, which I have duly noted – thank you so much! And BTW, I love the hours and “food groups” you allow your children when traveling.

Hi kja! I am glad some that my tip about the reserve naturelle du Roc de Chere is useful. I wish we had more time to venture down one of the two paths. I think they come out at Menthon-Saint-Bernard. I am already looking forward at your trip report including the South of France!
