I like Blois but what is there to see in Blois besides the chateau now that the Chocolate tours are gone?

In Amboise itself and environs there are several neat things to see and do.

Blois is a more ordinary city - a thriving regional city but for the average first-time tourist to the Loire I'd advise nothing could be better from a utilitarian standpoint - a great base location wise for day trips out and lots to do there.

but I also love Blois.
