Quick Question: How Do You Pronounce "Prestwich?"

I'm talking about Prestwich, Lancashire.

I know that the "w" is silent in many cases in the UK (Warwick, Chiswick, Beswick, etc) but I'm not sure about this one.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Now have a go at "Blenheim".

Prest-witch (I hadn't really noticed the difference from Chis-ik, etc before but that's English for you...and it's Blen-im.

It was always fun hearing my son's Dutch friends trying to pronounce Loughborough when he was studying there. And they gave up when he was on work experience at Beaulieu!
