Quick, but fun lunch in Florence

We will have only one quick day in Florence and are looking for a quick, fun lunch spot to take a break during our whirlwind tour (don't necessarily mean FAST food!) It will be on a Sunday (so no I Fratellini :( ) Any suggestions? Thanks!

Since you say "quick", there is a modest lunch place at the top of the Rinascente department store in Firenze which is on a roof terrace and has a modest view.

Cantinetta del Verrazzano is not only fun, it is open throughout the day. It's at Via dei Tavolini 18-20r.

Trattoria Mario
Via Rosina, 2R
Behind Mercato di San Lorenzo in the Piazza Mercato Centrale

Delicious food, inexpensive, communal tables, open for lunch only.
Not sure if they're open on sunday, though.

thanks for the suggestions.

Cantinetta del Verrazzano was already on my list. I can't find a website to tell me if they are open on Sundays. do you know?

Trattoria Mario looks great - but it is closed on Sundays. . .

According to (gasp!) Frommers, Cantinetta dei Verrazzano is closed on Sundays.

Oh, sorry! I hadn't noticed the OP was going on Sunday.

I was just about to suggest Frescobaldi, but it's closed for lunch on Sunday as well. You might have to just follow your nose.

I Fratellini is quick, cheap and some think it's fun, but you stand in the street with everyone else.
