The drive from Donostia-San Sebastian to Bilbao is on a beautiful, hilly highway...hope it does not rain! (this is a very rainy area, be prepared for any kind of weather). Yes, IŽd make appointments before getting there, English tours are not done every hour and you should get a proper booking in advance. As dates get closer, post here again for advice on wineries, if you want updated info.
