Questions about Piazza Santo Spirito
Are the markets at Piazza Santo Spirito nice? Several markets that I have been to in Italy were like a huge Walmart with clothing from China, trinkets etc. Very little local food, veggies, cheeses, crafts etc.
Also, how do you get there if you have a car?

It's a small market-- a few vegetables, some olives, honey, etc. Quite a bit of socks, underwear, fabric as well. I don't know if it's in the no-drive zone, but the piazza itself is pedestrian. Easy to walk to from most parts of Florence.
The big market at the Cascine (Sundays) has a lot of stuff, but also many purveyors of cheese, sausages, fish, fruits and vegetables. The Mercato Centrale is the main place for food shopping. Check local regulations for parking, personally I wouldn't take a car into Florence, too easy to wind up in the forbidden zone.

I agree with colonna.
You can easily walk to P. Santo Spirito if you are in Centro.
I like Santo Spirito neighbourhood, but I thought the market was a waste of time.
There are some nice shops that border the piazza that you could visit, and then, of course, you should walk over to see the Brancacci Chapel.

Definitely go to the Mercato Centrale for food. And you can't get to it by car if you are not a local because of traffic restrictions. But it's only a few blocks from the Duomo, so it's no big deal to walk.
You should not be taking a car into Florence, anyway. You can't take it anywhere in the historic center and will get a huge traffic fine if you do. And parking is expensive, the streets are narrow and crowded, and finding your way around is extremely difficult in a car, with one-way streets, hard to find street signs, and streets that change names every couple of blocks.
