Vedette, I read the rules on onetravel, which said that most tix do not qualify for miles. BUT, my guardian angel agent from United who took my call, also took my ff number and input it. Woohoo!!
BTW, I still check each day (still OCD) and that fare is still being offered, if anyone else is interested.
