Question regarding Belgium

Aloha, I have never been to Belgium and was wondering if I take the train from London will I have an easy time walking around the city. I don't have time to read a guide book, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. What is the City like?

I know I want to eat some belgium frites and buy lots of chocolate.

Much Aloha,
M

Read a guide book during your train ride just to pass the time.

I think I got spoil reading this forum because people here give such good advise (example: I never knew it is cheaper to use your ATM card to get cash) and I wanted to get a quick overview of Belgium because I want to make sure it is worth the day trip.

But thank you anyway.

My daughter just returned from Amsterdam/Belgium/Paris. She took trains back and forth from all these cities. From what I understand, yes, you can get around all over the city by foot. There is a wonderful Christmas Market right now.
She buys lots of chocolate and lucky me, brings some home for me.
Enjoy! and read a guide book!

Belgium is not a city !
It's a country - where in Belgium ?
