Question About the Districts in Paris

Do the zip codes of addresses in Paris correspond with the district in which it is in. For example, if a hotel has a zip code of 75007, would that hotel be in the 7me? Thank you.

StCirq Jul 16th, 2002 06:04 PM

Yes, Joel.

Joel Jul 16th, 2002 06:24 PM

Merci. Vous êtes le plus aimable.

Oui Joel,
StCirq est une dame tres gentille~

Seamus Jul 16th, 2002 07:11 PM

d'accord!

If you're a fan of St-Cirq's, you should check out her trip reports on the Francophile Forum on Delphi - absolutely wonderful and hilarious! The latest sheep-on-the-roof and the bitchy Jeannette installment had me falling off my chair.

This is the "real" Joel. I just went to a translator site to see if the "fake" Joel said something nice to StCirq. It seems that he has. Merci, StCirq.

xxx, I'm a fan. How about the URL for Delphi?

How weird. Nice, but weird.

xxx Jul 16th, 2002 07:47 PM

I don't understand the first thing about the real Joel and the fake Joel, but here's the link for the Delphi site: really great trip reports from St-Cirq and others:
http://forums.delphiforums.com/PBProvence/start
Sign in as a guest and go to the folder called Trip Reports (or Trip Reports, Other Than France for reports about other places, including a great one about St-Cirq and PB's trip to Morocco to cooking school last fall)

Yoo Hoo! Jul 16th, 2002 07:59 PM

Will the real Joel please stand up?

Marcie Jul 16th, 2002 09:53 PM

There would be more than one "Joel", along with all sorts of other interesting "names" because StCirq and her cronies make up names, promote, and compliment each other. The trip reports are interesting, somewhat amusing, pure fiction.

And you know this how Lauren...ooops, I mean Marcie?

BTilke Jul 17th, 2002 05:29 AM

Yes, they do correspond, but the 16th is split into two postal codes. One is 75016, which matches the rest of Paris zip codes (750+the arrondissement number, i.e., 01 to 20). But there's also a 75116, which is still part of the 16th in Paris.
BTilke (Brussels)

According to the fictional "Marcie" this entire board could be just one person with multiple personalities posting away!
Ah, and there's Marcie sitting there watching and knitting away, this entire story reduced to knits and purls.

It's good to know about the zip codes in Paris. I wish I could figure out more of a patttern in ours in the USA.

Marcie-which would you prefer?
Those who appreciate a posters comments so they say good things about them?
Or those like yourself, who have nothing but UNpleasantries to say, someone who has plenty of Negatives to contribute?
