Yup.

These thread I like because it can help distinguish among posters the ones who

a. are b!tchy : like OP, agressive and eating zalive everyone
b. the normal ones : answering that you have to see a doc ...
c. the ones who care : they answer about the doc and try to provide alternatives (trains, we could have told OP to follow a session organized by most airlines to fight their apprehension)
d. the snarky one...
e. the ones who don't care one bit (like me) as I just don't understand how a normal person can come to a forum to ask this... and a travel one at that
f. the morons / jerks / tossers who berate the ones of the abovementioned categories because they are not nice to OP
g. special mention for those who deplore OP left the house... an agressive OP asking a medical question on a travel forum, what a loss. What is the English idiom for 'qui se ressemble s'assembe ?' (guys who are the same flock together).

Voilà, I suppose I made some great progress towards making firends with some.
Waf ! :-)

so if it hadn't been medication for a neurological/psychological issue, everyon would also have told the OP to "grin and bear it" and get off the addiction?

amazing responses by a lot of regulars on here.

Why is a prescription for drugs referred to as an RX in the United States? What is it short for? It's not an expression used in the U.K.

It's from Latin

This is from Google:

<<℞' is a symbol meaning "prescription". It is sometimes transliterated as "Rx" or just "Rx". This symbol originated in medieval manuscripts as an abbreviation of the Late Latin verb recipe, the imperative form of recipere, "to take" or "take thus">>
