Question about london Travelcard 7 day visitors pass

I am wondering if anyone knows if the 7 day visitors travelcard includes busses. I have searched their site, and while it mentions tube and DLR, no word about busses. I want to make sure I buy the right thing. we use mostly busses in London. Thanks for any information..

Travelcards are indeed valid on the buses, but since you asked, I would point out that there is a "Greater London Bus Pass" that will (eventually!) get you from Heathrow to Greenwich and everywhere in between - £3 for one day or £11 for seven days (£3.50/£13.50 from 6Jan). For traveling around within Central London, a bus is frequently faster than a Tube, especially if the latter requires a connection. It is always more interesting.

Two useful maps are

The first one is available free at any Tube station.

No, it's the second one. The first one can be printed at home on a single letter sheet.

Thank you Robspierre..Is the buss pass something i would just buy in London? At the transportation office at Victoria for esample?

You can get a bus pass at the ticket office in any Tube station or from any of 1,800 retailers. See here:

Make sure you do not buy more pass than you need. It is more expensive to buy a pass for all zones when the majority of the London highlights are located within the first 2 zones. The tube is very easy to navigate, the buses required too much thought... Enjoy

Jemappell's info about buying just the zones you need only applies to Tube/trains. Even if one buys just a zone 1-2 transport pass, busses are covered throughout all 6 zones.

I am certain that kisses are not included in a seven day BUS pass, even in the new BUSES just introcuced in London.

However, it is still legal to buss on the buses. :">

Most people have no trouble using the bus network once they have absorbed a few key bits of lore:

To summarize: ANY Travelcard is valid on ANY bus route in Greater London, but only on the Underground within its specified zones.

Oh well, spelling always was my worst subject.
