Question about German rail fares

Just trying to find out if you buy a ticket at a German rail station three days in advance of your travel, do they offer any discounts? Or do they just sell the standard fare?
Thanks!

One day to one week in advance gives the best fares on ice trains. from 25€. Those tickets are NOT available on the bahn.de site or at the station.

So you're saying that you can't buy any discounted tickets at the station, even in advance, right?
We don't want to buy them on the website in advance and then find out we aren't going to be able to make that particular train.

You can buy discounted tickets up to the last minute if there are any available. The cheaper tickets sell first. If you're traveling in high season on a popular route then the chances are that there will be no more discounted tickets.

Great information, logos!

The "official" discounted tickets (Sparpreis) are available from 3 months in advance to your departure and sell out quickly. They are available on bahn.de, vending machines and counters. 3 days in advance - little chance of getting such a ticket.
The l-tur last-minute offer is a quite recent programme of deutsche bahn to sell their unsold tickets "last minute"
Many germans own a bahn-card that gives 50% or 25% discount at any time. Yet only available to german residents, I think.
