Question about fast train Madrid to Segovia
 

I know that the fast train arrives Segovia at Estacion Guiomar which is outside the city center, approx 15 mins away by car. Can I expect to see taxis there?

Also, I will be going in the AVANT train. When I buy the round trip ( for the discount), do I need to specify in which train I'm returning?

Cruiseluv, there is a bus just outside the station that takes you to the acueduct in 15 minutes more or less. If you miss it, you will get on another one in a quarter of an hour. There are also taxis, but the bus works fine.

You have to specify the train to get that return fare. But it is always possible to change the return train paying a small amount. I did it last year during the Hay Festival. We had bought tickets for the last Avant train thinking of going to a conference, but there weren´t tickets, so on Saturday I called Renfe and rebooked for an earlier train without problems.

This new fast train is really practical !
